Querying Help

One of my friends sent me the link to this really great querying resource from YA author Elana Johnson. She’s written an ebook called From the Query to the Call. And it’s free! Yes, free. 🙂 I know, exciting, right? I haven’t looked at all of it yet, but the parts I have read are going to be very helpful, I think. You can download it by going to www.elanajohnson.com, scroll down, and click on “Query to the Call.”

Also, there was a link in her book that led me here, where Elana and others have articles on querying, etc. She also has an awesome Querying Worksheet that you can download here.

Happy querying! I hope these resources can help. 🙂

I write for teens when I'm not chasing after two cute kids. I love to sing and eat cereal (though not at the same time), and I most certainly am not a vampire because I'm addicted to sunshine.

  1. Thanks for the shout out! You are awesome. 🙂

    • And thank you for the great querying advice! I’ve been using it tonight and it’s been so helpful. I finally have my query pitch written out from start to finish. It still needs some (ok, maybe more than some) work, but it’s not too shabby. It feels good to finally have it started anyway. 🙂
