Hallelujah Chorus in the background–I finished!

Last night at 11:30 pm, I finished a complete, workable draft of my book. AAAAAHH! I can’t tell you how good it feels. I’ve been working on this for almost two years, and now…it’s a complete book. Will there be revisions? Major. But I’m not thinking about those right now, because I finished!

My final counts:

Words: 50,271
Pages: 189
Chapters: 23

So for those of you still typing away on your WIP–you can do it!

On Friday, when I thought I couldn’t do it, I found inspiration from Edna Mode from The Incredibles. (I’m a dweeb, I know.)

Enjoy and be inspired… 🙂

About Karen Krueger

I write for teens when I'm not chasing after two cute kids. I love to sing and eat cereal (though not at the same time), and I most certainly am not a vampire because I'm addicted to sunshine.

I only just discovered your blog, but congrats! ^_^ I’d like to know what your book ends up being called, so I can check it out once it’s published. 🙂
