Fablehaven 5 Giveaway–One Week to Go!

Just seven more days until Fablehaven 5: Keys to the Demon Prison is released. Which means there are only 7 more days to win the signed copy I’ll be giving away!

Fablehaven is a secret preserve where magical creatures take refuge. Siblings Kendra and Seth get to see new magical creatures all the time–both good and bad.

If you were to go to a place like Fablehaven, which magical creature would you hope to see? (Time to connect with your inner child here. I know us grown ups don’t sit around wishing magically creatures were real, but just pretend for a moment. You could enjoy yourself. 🙂 )

My choice? The fairies.

I know, I know…for you adventurous Seth-types, you’re thinking about what a snoozer I am. But I wouldn’t mind seeing pretty little winged people flying around, no matter how rude or vain they are. They’d make life more interesting.

What would you choose if you could pick one type of magical creature to be real? They don’t have to be specifically from Fablehaven, either. But if you want…Someone’s actually put up a list of all of Fablehaven’s creatures on wikipedia. Can you believe that? Funny.

And remember…connecting with the inner child.

About Karen Krueger

I write for teens when I'm not chasing after two cute kids. I love to sing and eat cereal (though not at the same time), and I most certainly am not a vampire because I'm addicted to sunshine.

  1. Brownies! Who wouldn’t want Brownies? They clean up and make delicious treats. That’s totally what my inner child wants.

  2. Amy says:

I’d like to be a fairy…but a cool one like the one pictured above. Not a boring wussy fairy…a tough bluish one with a mini sword. 🙂

  3. Jenilyn says:

If I were to go to Fablehaven, I really want to see Hugo. But if any magical creature could be real, my first impulse is a dragon, but after thinking about it, I’d really like some brownies to keep my house in repair. I’m going to go with a broad interpretation and say “in repair” means clean.
