I know, you were starting to miss me, right? 
I was visiting my family and had no time (ok, and no desire) to blog. In retrospect, I should’ve posted saying I wasn’t going to post. Oh well.
I’m getting pumped up for next week, when I’ll be going to the Writing and Illustrating For Young Readers conference. But before I get there, I need to rewrite my first chapter yet again. My writer friends (the ones who read my whole draft) gave me some suggestions about where to start Melisma and so I’m going to work on that for the next few days. I’m excited to get started!
Tomorrow, I think I’ll go out of the norm and do a book review, since I haven’t done one for the last two Mondays. And then next week I’ll be right back on schedule. I’ll try to post a little bit about the conference next week, so keep reading!
